John Reininger, M.A., LMHC, FAPA



John has been in private practice for over thirty years in Fort Lauderdale. His professional work includes:

John earned his B.S. degree from the University of Cincinnati. After finishing a tour of duty with the U.S. Army he completed his M.A. degree from Saint Thomas University in Pastoral Ministry with additional studies in counseling. His Florida State License is MH1980.

John has been involved with field work from Hurricanes, Andrew, Harvey (Houston) and Irma (Florida Keys). He worked at the World Trade Center (9/11), and events such as the Pulse Night Club in Orlando, Parkland MSD High School, Fort Lauderdale Airport as well as other traumas in the Caribbean and throughout the United States.

Soultions

Ongoing difficulties in personal relationships often occur from a 'solution' and not from the original problem. A unilateral and imposed 'solution' determined by one partner that directly impacts the behaviors or personality of the other, cannot be truly effective, healthy, or consistently implemented. Arriving at solutions in the heat of an argument is seldom successful.
